The Ministry of Housing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Building, Housing and Public Utilities of the Federal Republic of Russia signed on the sidelines of the Global Urban Forum currently being held in the UAE capital of Abu-Dhabi, a joint cooperation program to enhance investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Bidair, General Supervisor of the Ministry of Housing, and Nikita Steichen, Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Building, Housing and Public Utilities, signed the program in the attendance of the Saudi ambassador to UAE Turki bin Abdullah Al-Dhakheel and a number of government and private sector officials of the two sides.
The program focuses on exchange of experience, particularly on quality, safety amelioration, and capacity efficiency in addition to housing development, engineering requirements, pricing standards as well as research, technological development in the fields of building and architectural engineering and legal consultations.
