Tunisair deepens partnership with Amadeus to drive international growth

Amadeus and Tunisair recently renewed their long-term IT partnership and signed an expanded agreement for a period of 10 years, in order to facilitate a wider and richer offering to passengers. The renewed IT partnership and expanded content partnership underline the confidence Tunisair, a pioneer in the region with over 70 years of flying, has in Amadeus' IT and distribution technology.

 

Tunisair renewal of Altéa as its Passenger Service System (PSS), ensures the airline will continue to streamline its reservation, inventory, departure control and ticketing systems. Altéa provides airlines with more efficient services via digital channels, accompanied by real-time data and improved customer insight, in order to increase productivity and competitiveness.

 

In parallel, through the expanded distribution agreement Tunisair will now be providing Amadeus’ travel seller network and global travelers with its full range of available fares. This will enable to drive profitability and growth with more opportunities for revenue generation, higher passenger volumes, and enhanced efficiencies across all shopping channels.

In addition to this agreement, Tunisair will be implementing more than 30 additional solutions and services over the next two years including Fare Families, which helps airlines differentiate their offers by packaging booking classes, fares and services into branded products, and Altéa  Reservation Desktop Web, a graphical user interface which improves the efficiency of airline agents across reservations, sales and customer service. Tunisair will also be working with Amadeus to distribute products and services through the protocol New Distribution Capability (NDC).
