ABERMOVE, the leading Portuguese company in security and luxury pool covers, obtained a patent for its latest innovation for luxury pool cover solutions. Controlled through a remote control, the retractable covers can be closed or opened within seconds providing additional space and a luxury approach to gardens and backyards.

Designers were looking for a solution which allows homeowners to enjoy larger garden spaces while still being able to keep their pools. The company was able to create a solid retractable cover that can turn the pool into a lounging space or a safe playground, or be included into the greenery. The covers can be made of different materials including deck, stone, grass and see-through glass adding a unique element to garden designs. 

“ABERMOVE’s solid retractable standard covers can stand up to 200kg/m2 because they are built from sturdy, high-end material. They have been tested by competent authorities in Portugal, and have been granted manufacturing and marketing licenses after obtaining an international patent”, explained the CEO. 

The company had previously announced plans to introduce its products to the region beginning with the UAE in the near future, where it will promote its cutting edge enclosures and covers via established distributors.
