A new generation of connected robots is coming this fall!

Welcome to the second generation of Parrot Minidrones - plunge into the era of connected toys. Our ultra-technological miniature robots are piloted with a Smartphone or a tablet via the free piloting App FreeFlight 3.

With 13 new drones separated into three clans, they are ready to take up any challenge!

The ‘Jumping’

These super rovers roll, rush, zigzag, take turns at 90° and jump up to 80cm in height and length! They can see, listen and talk for you thanks to an embedded wide angle camera, microphone and speaker.

The ‘Night’ are robots equipped with two powerful LEDs with adjustable intensity to illuminate the dark.

The ‘Race’ are racing cars capable of travelling at 13km/h in bursts of intense speed!

The ‘Airborne’

These experts in acrobatics are quadricopters capable of performing flips and of ripping through the air at 18km/h!

The ‘Night’ can fly by day and night thanks to two powerful controllable LEDs.

The ‘Cargo’ are transport drones, capable of carrying figures or toy bricks.

The ‘Hydrofoil’ drones

These flying drones are attached to a hydrofoil boat, which can lift out of the water and reach the speed of 5.4 knots (10km/h)!

“The success of our first Minidrones, which sold more than 600,000 units, pushed us to enlarge the family of these super high-tech toys, “ says Henri Seydoux, founder and CEO of Parrot. “After reinventing the helicopter and the radio-controlled car, we are today creating a new species of drone, a super-fast and unsubmersible hydrofoil.”

The new Minidrones are:

More fun: they can light the night, roll faster or carry bricks!

More technological: better autopilot, new and more powerful motors, better energy management , and increased flying time; 4GB memory and an audio mode for the rovers.

More designs: a family of nutty robots in the air, on the ground and on the water!

The new Minidrones will be introduced in the Middle East during GITEX Technology Week 2015, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Center on 18-22 October. Visitors will be able to see a demo of the minidrones during the event at the Gadgitech stand in Hall 8.
