103 expert speakers line up for MEPEC 2017

The Middle East’s definitive event for process engineers, MEPEC, comes to Bahrain with an exciting lineup of over 103 expert speakers and moderators, high-level dignitaries, CEO's and process-engineering professionals.

The 4th edition of the Middle East Process Engineering Conference, MEPEC 2017, takes place from October 9 to 11th at the Bahrain International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will host an exciting lineup of industry initiatives and thought-provoking content where industry leaders will engage in technical conversations to find solutions to current challenges facing the process engineering in the region.

MEPEC’s technical sessions will feature four main topics - Process Design and Development, Process Excellence, Sustainability and Downstream Integration for Value Creation. The program focuses on key priorities for the region, whilst bringing synergy and collaboration between industries. There will be 48 technical presentations delivered by leading regional and international key players including SABIC, Saudi Aramco, Shell, BAPCO, Tasnee, Honeywell, Sadara Chemical Company, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Rexa Inc, AspenTech, ExxonMobil Chemical amongst many others.

MEPEC 2017 ‘s Conference keynotes include industry players like Ahmad Al Sa’adi (Senior VP, Technical Services, Saudi Aramco); Ziad Al-Labban (CEO, Sadara Chemical Company); Guy Lewis (VP, Strategic Marketing and Planning, UOP, A Honeywell Co.); Jonathan Forbes Lane (General Manager EMEAR, CRI Criterion Catalyst Co Ltd); David Bergeron (Vice President, ExxonMobil Catalysts and Licensing LLC); Dr. Tobias Scheele (Senior Vice President - Software, Schneider Electric); Fuad Mosa (GM, Local Content Unit Innovation & Business Development, SABIC); Zak Alzein (Vice President and GM, Connected Performance Services, Honeywell, UOP); Ed Boufarah(VP, Digital Solutions - MEA & India, Baker Hughes, a GE company) amongst many others.  

 

Also, for the first time three co-located events will be taking place alongside MEPEC, The Leadership Excellence for Women Awards and Symposium, The Middle East Fine and Specialty Chemicals Conference and Exhibition and the Middle East Process Safety Conference and Exhibition.
