All praise is due to the establishment of the municipality of Hail to 1381 AH under the reign of King Saud bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him and called it the name of the municipality of Hail and was Sheikh / Mamdouh bin Suleiman Al Ali, the first President of the town of Hail.
In the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz issued a resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 224 in 1428/8/17 e to change the name of the Municipality of Hail to the Secretariat of the Hail region and linked to the municipalities of Hail, Secretary of Hail.
He was the first secretary of the Hail region, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Yusuf Al-Ammar
