By the end of 2004, the idea of launching an Applied Media Academy was launched. The idea took shape in 2005, with two courses in print and color, accompanied by some initial activities. The actual launch of the Academy's work took place in 2007 and the official inauguration was held in April 2008 under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The establishment of the Prince Ahmed Bin Salman Academy for Applied Media is a great training academy that aims to be an active partner in the efforts to improve the quality of education, training and provision of specialized and professional cadres in line with the rapid development and revolution in the Arab and international media and press market. A scientific and practical environment characterized by professionalism and creativity that includes lifelong learning opportunities and lifelong learning. The Academy draws on its mission and goals in the belief that national and Arab competencies must be applied to the concepts and fundamentals of the media and the professional press to contribute to the promotion of a strong national and Arab media industry that can compete and spread.
