Virgin Mobile is set to auction some of the most exclusive mobile phone numbers to be made available in Saudi Arabia for years, in a high profile charity auction this month, which will be held in the presence of HRH Prince Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Chairman of Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia.

Karim Benkirane, CEO of Virgin Mobile, said: “At Virgin Mobile we recognise how important having a good mobile number is in Saudi Arabia. The auction includes the elite 0570 000 000, one of the most prestigious numbers ever to become available for auction, and the last all zeros combination currently available in the Kingdom. 

Unique mobile numbers have a special status across the GCC, where similar charity auctions have attracted significant contributions, with one special number selling for SAR 8,000,000 earlier in the year, and another number being auctioned for SAR 7,500,000 the previous year. Contributing and helping wider society is a pillar of the Virgin brand globally, and Mr. Benkirane is delighted to announce that 80% of all the proceeds from the auction are being donated to The Disabled Children Association and Charity Committee for Orphans Care, as well as other community initiatives.

Nine other exceptional numbers will also be sold at the prestigious auction, including 0570 777 777, 0570 666 666 and 0570 555 555. The higher the bid, the more money that will be donated to charity.

The prestigious auction will be by exclusive invite only. However, Virgin Mobile is opening up a limited number of seats for interested bidders who can register to attend the auction at Virgin Mobile’s website www.virginmobile.sa/auction. Successful participants will be contacted by the Virgin Mobile team.
