Saudi loan to Jordan worth $ 50 million to build public schools

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Mohammed Al-Assas today with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development and Managing Director d. Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Khudairi, signed a loan agreement to establish government schools in various regions in Jordan, worth US $ 50 million, as part of the commitments made by Saudi Arabia at the Makkah summit.

 

The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Minister of State for Economic Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's appreciation to the King, Government and people for the continuous support provided to Jordan through years of strong and distinguished bilateral relations. The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has strong and distinguished relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein and his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

 

For his part, Al-Khudairi stressed that this agreement clearly reflects the close ties between the Saudi and Jordanian brotherly peoples. This is an extension of the sincere efforts of the Government of Saudi Arabia to support the development projects implemented by the Government of Jordan and with the hope that this project will have a direct impact on the development of the level. Which will raise the level of knowledge of the Jordanian people dear, and progress in all fields. Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirmed his country's support for Jordan and its economic support.
