Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia, Issam Abed Al-Thaqafi has expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for their care and efforts in serving pilgrims at the highest levels including "Makkah Road Initiative" aiming to serve pilgrims at the airports of five countries in the world, including Indonesia.

In a press statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ambassador said: "Makkah Road Initiative" was welcomed by officials of the Indonesian government and widely accepted by Indonesians", pointing out that Indonesian authorities have provided all necessary facilities to implement the initiative at Jakarta International Airport.
