Underlining its commitment to boosting Saudi Arabia’s exports and facilitating the transfer of technology in the Kingdom, Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) kicked off today its participation in the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition taking place at ExCeL London from 10-13 September.
As part of its participation, SAMI is showcasing its wide-ranging line-up of cutting-edge military and defense systems and solutions spanning the company’s five business divisions, namely Aeronautics, Land Systems, Naval Systems, Weapons and Missiles, and Defense Electronics.
During the four-day exhibition, the company will explore new opportunities to build industry partnerships in line with its vision to develop new technologies locally, attract foreign investment to the Kingdom, and create employment opportunities in the country. Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) and SAMI Navantia Naval Industries (SAMI-Navantia), affiliated to SAMI, are also taking part in the international arms fair under SAMI’s umbrella.
H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Chairman of SAMI, Dr. Andreas Schwer, CEO of SAMI, a number of the company’s executive management members, and officials from international companies visited SAMI’s booth on the first day of the most anticipated event in the industry.
The world-leading event that connects governments, national armed forces, industry thought leaders and the global defense and security supply chain on an unrivaled scale is expected to welcome over 34,000 attendees from across the globe.
