Media Rotana greets Chef Salvatore back with regular guests anticipating his classic renowned dishes that left a mark with Media Rotana’s Prego’s.
The Italian Chef Salvatore started his culinary career in 1996 and went on for over 20 years of experience in a number of hotels and restaurants worldwide, including Germany, the US and the UAE, where he has been since 2011.
Chef Salvatore understands that being a chef is much more than the managerial aspect of a kitchen. He believes in participating in the process of creating the dishes and transforming an ordinary dish to an innovative culinary wonder. His attitude on being a chef has given him the space to express his personality in crafting quality dishes that keep guests returning for more; as formerly shown during his time at Prego’s.
Prego’s, known for its authentic spirit and distinguished as one of the leading Italian restaurants in the city, is one of the favourite hotspots at Media Rotana. An open kitchen showcases the chefs creating the finest Italian dishes, offering a wide range of specialities, from thin-crust pizzas to freshly baked homemade breads baked in a wood-fired oven.
Salvatore returns with even more experience and an outlook at the culinary needs of the various cultures in Dubai. To kick off his return to Media Rotana and to add a little nostalgia, Salvatore will be re-creating his authentic Italian dishes menu that our regular Prego’s customers are craving for.
