Following the directions of the Ministry of Interior on the precautionary and preventive procedures indorsed by the health authorities in Saudi Arabia, headed by the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz and as part of the constant progress of the efforts to prevent transmission of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) to protect the health of citizens and expatriates and ensure their safety, to close all commercial centers, and shopping malls; Red Sea Mall closed its doors while keeping few gates opened to allow visitors reach the Hypermarket and the pharmacies at the mall.

For the safety of Red Sea Mall visitors, the mall directly implemented the government’s directions by closing the gates and all shopping stores and outlets except the pharmacies and the “Danube” Hypermarket leaving to its guests, gates 6 and 7 opened only. Al Rayan Gadouri, General Manager of Red Sea Mall emphasized that the mall management has taken precautionary measures through contracting with specialized companies in the field of sterilization and cleaning to start its comprehensive sterilization process of the mall and all its facilities as this falls under the mall’s national responsibility to address the virus situation and contribute effectively to the directions of the wise leadership of the Kingdom.

Red Sea Mall will be sterilizing all its public areas, walls, air conditions, washrooms, ablution rooms, prayer rooms, elevators and escalators on regular basis for additional sanitization. The mall’s management encourages all society members to contribute and apply the wise government’s directions and to play their national responsibility roles to limit the spread of the virus, wishing everyone good health and well-being.
