Along its contribution to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030, Red Sea Mall continues to empower the local community by supporting productive families, providing jobs, developing their potential and contributing to the development of national industries and crafts. The mall is assisting economically, the productive families by providing them free space at the mall, in order to encourage them to set up small projects aimed at upgrading this category of entrepreneurs to become an essential partner in sustainable development. Red Sea Mall seeks to instill a culture of self-employment among the Saudi community to increase the variety of production and develop the skills of these families.

 

"The productive families’ program has been a success over the past few years as many families have started their small businesses that have formed the nucleus of promising business," said Eng. Al Rayan Gadouri, General Manager of Red Sea Mall. "We are proud of the success of this initiative, which was the result of fruitful cooperation between us and the Social Security and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and “Ala Mazaji” groups. The initiative has attracted 112 families from the beginning of the campaign until 29 March 2019. Red Sea Mall will continue this initiative in order to provide further support, in line with the vision of the Kingdom 2030, which aims to involve the private sector, in the promotion of the national economy”, added Eng. Gadouri. 

 

Many productive families expressed appreciation and thanks to the Red Sea Mall for providing them a free space for a year to showcase their products, noting that this initiative allowed them to establish and promote work in order to achieve a distinguished life for themselves and their families and put them in the way of achieving their ambitions, and they expect more success in the coming years. Ensuring that this achievement was crowned with success, by God’s will and then Red Sea Mall's community action initiative.

 

"Small-scale family-owned enterprises are an important resource for the dynamic retail sector and are supported by good governance. The initiative has reinforced the importance of manual labor and the drive for development by offering a variety of products ranging from small to handicrafts. Whether through the program of productive families or new programs, activities and events, and supporting awareness activities, we will continue to work together to contribute to the sustainable development of Saudi society and to promote and support the spirit of citizenship among Saudi youth of both genders", concluded Eng. Gadouri.
