Swaidan Trading, the automotive division of Al Naboodah Group Enterprises- Peugeot Middle East’s sole distributor in the UAE - has signed a deal with Al Emad to deliver 40 Peugeot 3008 models to join its fleet of rental cars.

 

As Peugeot recently announced a 61 percent year-on-year growth in sales in the GCC in the first half of 2019, this deal comes just weeks after Al Emad - one of the UAE’s leading local car rental companies – signed an agreement to add 100 Peugeot 208 hatchback models to its fleet of hire cars.

 

Launched in the GCC in 2017, Peugeot’s flagship SUV - the 3008 - is proving to be one of the French brand’s best-selling models in the region. Its effortless blend of elegant design, an intuitive driving experience and intelligent technology has afforded the mid-sized SUV 65 awards across the globe.

 

Behind the wheel of Peugeot’s 3008 is the most advanced version of its i-Cockpit® system, complete with an 8.0" touch screen and 12.3" head-up digital display which can be completely personalised. The 3008 also boasts precise road handling for an outstanding safe and smooth drive, while its efficient 1.6L Turbo 165hp engine, with 6-speed automatic gearbox, offers an ultra-low fuel consumption of 15.1km/l.
