MYNM - Ford reveals its latest 2020 models at the Saudi International Motor Show

Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors revealed its latest collection of Ford models at the 41stSaudi International Motor Show 2019, after being appointed the authorized dealer of Ford cars in the Western and Southern provinces of the Kingdom. A host of top executives were present at the Company’s stand, amid a dazzling fleet of Ford cars much beloved by Saudi drivers, the most notable of which is the all-new Explorer SUV revealed here for the first time in the Kingdom, in addition to numerous new Ford models for 2020, such as Escort and Taurus that have been recently launched in the Kingdom.


Mr. Abdul Wahab Itani , Executive Vice President of MYNM, attended the motor show along with Mr. Isam Abunabah , General Manager Ford & Lincoln, Marketing Manager Eng. Essam Nauwar, and Mr. Ahmad Kahwaji, Regional Manager of Ford Middle East, who traveled especially to the Kingdom to attend the event, in addition to a host of journalists and media personnel.  


In that occasion, Mr. Isam Abunabah, General Manager at MYNM - Ford, said, “Since the first day of our appointment as exclusive dealer of Ford in the Western and Southern provinces of the Kingdom, we implemented a strategic plan to advance this deep-rooted and renowned brand while promoting our relationship with Ford company and our clients. Due to the significance of this partnership, we pledge to put our best foot forward in providing the best customer service possible, while adhering to stringent criteria that guarantee utmost satisfaction.” 


For his part, Eng. Essam Nauwar, Marketing Manager at MYNM, said, “In order to represent Ford properly across the Kingdom, we encircled it with a complete network of showrooms and advanced service & maintenance centers that stretch from the north west across the Western Province all the way to the Southern Province of the Kingdom, namely in Jeddah, Mecca, Tabuk, Al-Medina, Baljurashi, Najran, Aseer, Yanbu and Jazan. In these areas, we have 14 showrooms, 7 independent centers for spare parts and 13 Ford Service Centers equipped with the latest equipment and tools under the supervision of a professional team of workers who undergo regular training courses. That approach goes hand in hand with a lucrative assortment of financial services that facilitate the process of purchasing Ford cars and makes them accessible to a wider spectrum of drivers and clients.“


Additionally, Mr. Ahmad Kahwaji, General Manager of Ford Middle East, said, “Along with our partner MYNM in the Western and Southern provinces of the Kingdom, we are totally committed to satisfy the needs of drivers eager to change their mode of transportation to better suit their evolving needs. In that respect, Ford Middle East pledges to support MYNM in its endeavor to provide male and female drivers with the latest Ford models along with leading standards of after sale service, in order to enjoy a remarkable and unique ownership and driving experience in the Saudi automotive market. In that respect, Ford launched more than three new models for 2020, namely Explorer, Taurus and Escort, which boast advanced technology and good performance along with low fuel consumption.”  


MYNM stand at the Saudi International Motor Show 2019 featured the all-new 2020 Explorer SUV, revealed here for the first time in the Kingdom. This family car will arrive at local showrooms by the end of December in an athletic identity and lively design scheme. It also boasts advanced aerodynamics along with radical exterior and interior changes. The all-new Explorer is powered by a sporty four-cylinder engine producing 300 hp, and is based on a new rear drive wheelbase.  


Visitors to Ford’s stand got the chance also to meet two new 2020 models, which joined Ford’s fleet in the Kingdom recently. They are the all-new Taurus, a popular car in the Kingdom, and the frugal Escort that is being marketed for the first time in KSA. Both cars reach the local market in a new look and advanced capabilities to continue their success stories while surpassing their previous generations in all aspects. As for the cherry on top of Ford’s stand at the motor show, it is a legendary supercar by all means that boasts the mythical Mustang Shelby nameplate, flanked by the popular family car Ford Expedition, Raptor truck and other models.  


Last but not least, MYNM - Ford launched a promotional campaign at the show to educate the public about the features and technologies of Ford 2020 models. That campaign enabled everyone who visited Ford’s stand and entered his data to participate in a competition that rewards him/her with a chance to win a brand new 2020 Ford Escort car.
