Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co. (MYNM), the authorised dealer for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, earned four awards during the Jaguar Land Rover MENA Annual Marketing Conference held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The conference took place 10-11 July 2019 and was attended by marketeers from all of the Jaguar and Land Rover dealerships in the MENA region.
Held on an annual basis, the conference honours dealerships across 15 MENA countries, recognising their achievements and efforts in accomplishing marketing objectives for the two British brands. Their contributions to the company’s success and growth in this important region are celebrated through four award categories.
Mr. Mahmoud Abdulaziz Mirza, National Marketing & CRM Manager at MYNM received the ‘Marketeer of the Year’ award in recognition of his effective marketing plans, which achieved prominent success and were in full compliance with the global policies and guidelines of the two brands. He was also recognised for the excellent coordination between different departments to ensure the success of the marketing plans and meet customer expectations.
MYNM also received the ‘Best Car Launch Event’ award for their Jaguar E-PACE launch ceremony and its accompanying activities, helping to meet the key objectives of the activity.
The third award, ‘Best PR Practice’ recognised MYNM’s communication and public relations activities following the Royal Decree allowing women to drive. MYNM activated several initiatives to position Jaguar Land Rover vehicles among women, which resulted in increased brand familiarity among the new target audience, and a higher sales conversion from females. A year after the decree was announced, female sales accounted for 25 percent of Jaguar Land Rover sales in KSA.
The fourth award for ‘Best Sponsorship Activity’ recognised MYNM’s sponsorship of the Saudi Racing Team, the first team formed by the Saudi Arabian Motors Federation (SAMF), which participated in the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series. As a result of this support, the Saudi Racing Team won the tournament in its inaugural season. In addition, racer Bandar Alesayi was named champion of the Pro-Am class, while his colleague Ahmed bin Khanen won third place in the same class.
