His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Alrabiah, honored Etihad Etisalat Company "Mobily" for being a platinum sponsor in the International E-Health Conference and Exhibition organized by HIMSS and held in Riyadh from 7 to 11 October. The sponsorship is in support of the Kingdom’s vision and promotes e-health strategies. The exhibition is supported and organized by a number of governmental agencies spearheaded by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in cooperation with HIMSS in addition to the Saudi Commission for Medical Specialties and the Saudi Health Council.

The Minister of Health also visited Mobily's pavilion and was briefed on the latest technical solutions provided by Mobily in the field of health, such as (HIS-PACS-Health Asset Management -Health Tracker) through advanced partnerships in the field of health.

Majed Al-Otaibi said “Mobily is committed to harnessing all the potential to promote and develop e-health services in the Kingdom through inter-hospital connectivity and enabling hospitals to maintain patient medical records on a secure and easily accessible network from several patient service outlets. We have already started working with a number of MoH hospitals in Medina, Bekeriya, Yanbu and other cities, and look forward to further cooperation with the health sector in in the kingdom.”
 
Mobily's booth at the conference showcases best-in-class healthcare solutions that are considered the latest in ICT solutions and cloud services in the Kingdom. These include communication, data, IoT, information security, and services such as vehicle fleet management, tracking services, advanced cloud services, as well as interconnectivity at minimal cost and without complications.
