The Board of Directors of the Saudi News Agency (SPA) held here its 14th meeting, presided over by Minister of Media Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah, Chairmen of the SPA Board of Directors, in the presence of the members.
At the outset of the meeting, the Minister of Media and Chairman of the SPA Board of Directors welcomed everyone, wishing the Board of Directors all success in what would lead to the SPA's progress and prosperity.
Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, SPA President and Vice-Chairman of the SPA Board of Directors, briefed the Board of Directors on the most important achievements during the recent period and reviewed the agenda.
The Board of Directors discussed a number of issues on the agenda, including expediting a completion and activation of the procedures of the Board of Directors' decision dated on 25/6/1437H, which included an establishment of a company concerned with the commercial and investment aspect in partnership with the Saudi Broadcasting Authority.
The Board of Directors also discussed some development issues pertaining to the SPA during 2020.
