Millennium Taiba and Al Aqeeq have won several accolades throughout the year 2019, a testimony to their world-class services and hospitality. Both hotels were awarded as the ‘Leading Hotels in Medina’ for 2019 at the World Travel Awards that was held in Abu Dhabi. Apart from this, Mr. Ibrahim Sindi, the Director of Sales and Marketing was bestowed with the title ‘Blue Ocean Champion of the Year’, in the Middle East, by Millennium Hotels at the Blue Ocean events held in Dubai. 

Millennium Al Aqeeq Hotel, a five-star hotel has been in contract with the Environment and Development Establishment. The intent was to prepare, construct and implement a food safety management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22000:2018. The system has been implemented successfully, followed by the obtaining of ISO 22000:2018 Certificate on 30/06/2019. The hotel has also been certified Environment and Development Establishment for compliant Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. Along with this, the hotel has also been recognized with the HACCP certificate by Cristal Company.

Likewise, the Millennium Taiba Hotel that is located in the heart of Madinah and 250m away from to Al Masjed Al Nabawi has been in the front row of winning awards in the year 2019. The hotel has been recognized with two different certificates for its food safety system; 1. HACCP Certificate from Cristal International Standards, a science-based mechanism to identify specific hazards, to measure their control & to ensure food safety; and 2. ISO22000 from DQS, a food safety management standard helps the organization in identifying and controlling food hazards.
