The introduction of these models in the Saudi market coincides with the rapid steps towards the empowerment of entertainment in line with the national transformation program for the Saudi Vision 2030, especially with regards to the cinema and entertainment sector. During the third quarter of this year, 2018 licenses were approved by the General Authority for Audiovisual Media, including eight licenses for the establishment of cinemas. The number of licenses for the import, distribution and sale of television receivers have reached 19.
