Prior to joining Form Hotel, Houssam started his career in Abu Dhabi back in 1997 as a management trainee at Le Royal Meridien. He lived and worked with private & international chains in Bahrain, Tunisia, Maldives, Egypt, Turkey and stable in Dubai for the last ten years. 

He has a wealth of experiences spanning over 25 years in the hospitality industry in Middle East and North Africa.

• What is the secret to the consistent success of FORM Hotel property?

As Form is Design hotels first property in the middle east, Our target is to be identified as the best boutique design hotel in the area, as we are part of Marriott Bonvoy thus expanding our network whereby guests may use their membership card to avail, upgrades, discounts and all other benefits that Marriott chain provide 

• What are your key strengths?

Lebanese par excellence Hotelier with over 25 years of solid experience in Middle East and North Africa, my start was in Abu Dhabi back in 1997 as a management trainee at Le Royal Meridien, I lived in Bahrain, Tunisia, Maldives, Egypt, Turkey and Dubai for the last ten years and had the privilege to work with great international chains like Hilton, Marriott, Meridien, and few other regional ones.  I have a solid track record of improving market share and financial performance under any circumstances. I am expert in Change Leadership, Developing Relationship, People Management and Owners' relationship.

• What made you venture into hospitality?

Dealing with people, making people happy and creating a pleasant customer experience is a great feeling. it helps us to be better people for ourselves and our community.   

• What is your vision for the future of the hotel?

I am addicted to non-traditional concepts, so my vision for FORM Hotel is to be recognizable for personalized service and quality standards, and to be consistent in the promotion of elegance, creativity and future development. We pride ourselves on truly customizing every stay to suit each of our guests.

• What advice would you give young people entering this industry?

Live your dream and experience as many departments as possible. I worked at all different levels. Once you find your niche, concentrate on its development. Go in with your eyes open and be enthusiastic. You have to have it in your heart and be yourself, be authentic and be genuine.
