KSU honors engineering college faculty, students

A number of students and faculty of the King Saud University’s (KSU) engineering college have been honored with certificates for their research work and academic achievements.

The ‘Research of Excellence’ awards were given by Khalid Al-Humaizi, dean of the engineering school at KSU, and was sponsored this year by Northrop Grumman Corporation.
The KSU aims to motivate students and faculty members for their research efforts and academic achievements by awarding certificates along with monetary compensation.
The candidates who were honored worked on a variety of projects and were chosen based on their research achievements, inventions and books completed in the past year. The honorees were divided into several categories: Eight university researchers, two new university researchers, three Ph.D. students and three Master’s degree students.
