Konica Minolta Business Solutions Middle East, a leader in the commercial printing and packaging industry, has launched JETVARNISH 3DS featuring unmatched Spot UV  3D varnishing capabilities and foil. This cutting edge machine will allow users to gain new customers and venture into new markets.

The MGI JETVARNISH 3DS is a unique technology that takes printing to the next level by adding more value to printed documents, featuring increased output for flat Spot UV jobs and elegant 3D raised effects in a single pass. The MGI’s JETVARNISH 3DS has the ability to convert a regular printed output into high-margin spot UV printed sheets, or even higher margin 3D embossed jobs in excess of 200 microns of varnish.

MGI’s JETVARNISH 3DS offers users the flexibility for two powerful and highly sought after digital finishing capabilities that include the traditional flat spot UV coating and the 3D digital effects. The machine, with digitally foil and emboss capabilities, can take inputs from the digital machines and offset as well.

Utilizing MGI’s patented inkjet engine technology, the JETVARNISH 3DS can accommodate sheets from 8×11.8-inch up to 14.33×40-inch and substrate thicknesses from 135 to 450gsm. The JETVARNISH 3DS uses no plates or screens and setup and ideally suited runs from one to thousands with full variable data capabilities. JETVARNISH 3DS is an environmentally friendly solution that also features solvent-free coatings and a closed-circuit system that eliminates waste.

With speeds of up to 2300 A3 sheets per hour for flat spot UV coating, the JETVARNISH 3DS is fast machine complementing both offset and digital presses and allowing commercial printers to increase their productivity while boosting their margins and differentiating themselves from other market players. In 3D mode, the JETVARNISH 3DS can apply digital effects up to 200 microns in thickness, producing visually stunning, tactile effects. The JETVARNISH 3DS’s variable data feature allows for full personalization capabilities resulting in maximum marketing impact.
