Jazeera Paints Takes Part in the Environmental Responsibility in Cooperation with King Khalid University

Towards a sustainable environment, under the slogan, (We refine to live) 

Jazeera Paints, represented by the Safety, Health, and Environment Department, participated in the environmental community initiative organized by King Khalid University in Abha, under the slogan, (We Refine to live). The initiative was organized by the Faculty of Engineering Club at the university. The company's presence has reflected its values and efforts towards preserving the environment to make it safe, healthy, and sustainable. It also reflects the company’s continuous efforts in contributing to raising environmental awareness in the community and applying mechanisms to protect the environment and benefit from waste materials.

The CEO of Jazeera Paints, Mr. Abdullah bin Saud Al-Rumaih, has stressed upon the company's commitment to implementing environmental policies, and its keenness and continuous efforts to comply with local and global environmental standards. This is all in order to achieve a sustainable environmental system and to attain the integration of environmental elements in their natural state, such as water and air. He has also emphasized upon the company's efforts to provide the best environmentally responsible products that are safe for all levels of life.

Throughout the company’s professional career in development and innovation, its environmental efforts have not been limited to theoretical aspects but have extended to the practical level by manufacturing environmentally- responsible products. The company's range of environmentally friendly paints has varied in several areas, such as Novel, the environmentally responsible paint, which is distinguished by its ability to resist the spread of fire and fight microbes. The company has also produced Notes Clear which was made innovatively, allowing it to write and draw on walls. In addition, the company offers specialized products that provide sustainable solutions for treating wall problems. One example of such products is the Green Anti Microbic paint, which is the first paint in the Middle East to eliminate microbes using silver ion technology. This paint works on sanitization to reduce the harm of microbes and to minimize the spread of infections in operating rooms and delivery rooms in hospitals, medical laboratories, and food manufacturing and packaging facilities. The company has also obtained the ISO Environmental Certification (14001) in recognition of its efforts to comply with environmental values.

The organizers of the initiative at King Khalid University presented a commemorative shield to Jazeera Paints on this occasion. It was received by engineer Sultan Mansour Al-Qahtani, director of the Safety, Health, and Environment.
