Test 1.1 - Shoot a complex object or scene
Turn on the camera. Select “Photo” on the slide bar. Click the icon located at the upper righthand corner to enter the “Settings” menu. Select “Resolution” and choose 48MP to capture every single detail.



Take a photo of a billboard on a tall building during the day. Zoom in on any area and prepare to be amazed by the amount of detail that is retained!

2. AIS Super Night Mode for Crystal-Clear Photography at Night
Aware of the limitations of night photography, the game-changing AIS Super Night Mode intelligently integrates different images to produce clear and realistic images in dimly-lit environments. Powered by an advanced AI algorithm, the HONOR 9X performs a meticulous four-step procedure, removing hand jitters to form an optimal image within a second or less.

Test 2.1 – Take nightscape shots with and without AIS Super Night Mode

Turn on the camera. Select “Night” on the slide bar and activate AIS Super Night Mode.

For those wanting to capture more, the inclusion of the 120° Super Wide Angle Camera broadens your perspective in smartphone photography. Supporting distortion correction, the HONOR 9X offers an astounding 120° Field of View for users to share even more scenery in a single shot without hiccups.

Test 3.1 – Take a landscape photo with and without the Super Wide Angle Mode

Before you take the picture, make sure that the 120° Super Wide Angle camera has been activated.


Try taking photos of the city landscape with and without the Super Wide Angle mode. The Super Wide-Angle mode will create a panoramic-like photograph packing every building into the frame.



Test 3.2 – Distortion Correction Test

Distortion correction is activated automatically. Take a photo with the Super Wide-Angle mode on and check if there is any unwanted contortion of the buildings or lamp post at the edges.

4. Multi-Dimensional Photographs with 2MP Depth Lens
By enabling depth of field recognition technology, the 2MP depth-assist lens at f/2.4 helps create multi-dimensional photos effortlessly, delivering studio-like close-ups and portraits during spontaneous shoots.

Test 4.1 – Take a close-up shot to test the bokeh effect

Turn on the camera and select “Aperture” Mode on the slide bar.



Take fascinating close-ups with the depth-assist lens. The soft, out-of-focus bokeh effect will add an extra dimension to your photograph to highlight your subject.

Test 4.2 – Take a portrait to test the 3D portrait lighting effect 

Turn on the camera and select “Portrait” Mode on the slide bar. Select the circular icon at the bottom lefthand corner and identify your lighting effect of choice to capture a professional portrait on-the-go.
