Golden Sands Hotel Apartments returns from a successful China roadshow

Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, part of A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises and pioneered the concept of hotel apartments in the region, is pleased to announce its successful participation in the 2018 Dubai Tourism China Roadshow.

The team of Golden Sands Hotel Apartment visited the cities of Shanghai, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Guangzhou and Hong Kong where they met with tour operators and travel agencies who have expressed great interests in promoting Dubai to the millions of Chinese travelers originating from these cities.

“It was a very successful trip. We managed to meet with key travel agencies and tour operators from the cities that we have visited and they have all expressed huge interests in the hotel apartment’s concept. We made a presentation about Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, our facilities as well as our location which is very accessible for both leisure and business travellers. It was a meaningful trip and we hope to see the result of this trip in the next tourist season,” commented the team of Golden Sands Hotel Apartments.

China is one of Dubai’s top 10 source markets. The China Roadshow is part of DTCM’s campaign to ensure further growth from this massive market. According to reports from Dubai’s tourism authority, there were 258,000 Chinese visitors to the city during the first quarter of the year, up by 12% compared to the same period in 2017. The number continues to increase with more and more Chinese travellers taking advantage of the emirate’s visa on arrival status.

Mohammed Khoori, General Manager, Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, added: “We are confident that the number of Chinese visitors staying in our hotel apartments will increase this year because they are now familiar with our property and we have Mandarin-speaking staff that can easily communicate and assist them with their questions about Dubai. We are pleased with the result of our participation and we plan to attend more in the future to support the government in realizing Dubai Tourism Vision of welcoming 20 million visitors per year by 2020.”
