GNU Features Among Top 12 Korean Universities

Gyeongsang National University (GNU) which is participating in the 7th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition at University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 20 and 21 February 2018, has established itself as the biggest university in the Gyeongnam province of South Korea.

The university is a part of the 9 Korean national flagship universities established by the Korean government in 1948, and consists of 14 colleges, 80 departments and 10 graduate schools, GNU has total enrollment of 25,000 students in four campuses.

GNU has been recognized as one of the top-tier universities in three academic fields in Korea such as life science, aerospace and mechanical systems, and nano and advanced materials.

Having been selected as Asia’s most innovative university by Tomson Reuters two years in a row in 2016 and 2017, GNU was also ranked within the 12 top universities in Korea on Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), 2017.

Located in historical city known for education, Jinju has one of the best natural and social environments for International students who want to study in Korea.

The two-day Gulf Education Conference is committed to supporting global education programs through student recruitment as well as facilitating partnerships between international institutions, academies, schools, and universities with Ministries of Education from the MENA region.
