Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues, at local, regional and international arenas.
Dammam-based Al-Yaum and Jeddah-based Al-Bilad newspapers, respectively, shed lights in their editorials, the announcement made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold the Extraordinary G20 Leaders' Summit, and consequently its effective and positive impact, in taking decisions and enhancing related initiatives, in combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The papers added that the extraordinary G20 Videoconference Summit held on Thursday, emphasized the necessity for revitalization of the global economic growth, setting plans to counter social, economic and financial impacts of the pandemic, and addressing the risks of high public debt, in low-income countries due to the pandemic.
