EMAAR COLLABORATES WITH ZOOM TO HOST A NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION LIKE NO OTHER

The world’s tallest tower will light up the night’s sky as part of its legendary New Year’s Eve spectacular

 

  •  The partnership will allow a global audience of up to 50,000 people to join-in the festivities virtually

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 22, 2020 – Emaar, the master developer of the Burj Khalifa, has collaborated with Zoom Video Communications, Inc., a video-first unified communication platform, to host its spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations live from Downtown Dubai in a global Zoom video call. Up to 50,000 people from around the world will be invited to tune-in and usher in 2021 on the first ever New Year’s Eve celebration to be hosted on Zoom.

 

Emaar NYE 2021 will be broadcast live globally on Zoom from 8:30 pm GST (+4 GMT) onwards, featuring a grand masterpiece of fireworks and light & laser show in Downtown Dubai to bring in 2021.

 

Emaar prides itself on creating memorable experiences for audiences in Dubai and around the world. The New Year’s Eve celebration in Downtown Dubai is a global event and the partnership with Zoom will create a whole new type of show for online audiences around the world. 

 

Following a successful year focused on supporting users globally through the pandemic and providing solutions for users around the world, Zoom is continuing its mission of giving users a sense of normalcy, unity, togetherness and happiness by coming together with Emaar and allowing a space for people to celebrate together and give its users the opportunity to celebrating the new year together.

While the New Year's Eve celebrations will be broadcast live, Emaar also announced seamless access for visitors interested in attending the show from the public viewing area on the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Additionally, the restaurants and hotels along the boulevard, Souk Al Bahar, Dubai Opera, and The Dubai Mall Promenade are available for dining reservations.

 

Emaar NYE 2021 will have several health and safety measures in place, including thermal cameras, social distancing, contactless payments, and frequent deep cleaning and disinfection, in line with Dubai Government guidelines and directives.
