Creative Portrait of Crown Prince Draws Visitors to Village of Roses

A portrait of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which was created using more than 9,000 fingerprints, has attracted thousands of visitors to the Village of Roses at Taif Season.

The Saudi artist, Talal Al-Abbasi, expressed his joy and pride in the portrait, which he considers his favorite and most important creation, and in the contributions of visitors to Taif Season. Al-Abbasi wanted to show a new concept and get art lovers to participate in its creation; the portrait was created on Art Street in the Village of Roses, using fingerprints taken from visitors of all nationalities and ages, with the youngest participation being just five months old.

Creating the portrait took five days, working for an average of four hours a day, with the finished artwork attracting admiration from visitors. The portrait was one of many attractions on Art Street, where more than 200 Saudi artists participated in creating fine artworks, and photographic, digital and interactive items.
