Canon Middle East, a leader in printing and imaging solutions, adds a new “family member” to the ImagePRESS series. The ImagePress C165 printer is launched for the first time in the Middle East in its biggest direct operations in the region, Canon Saudi Arabia. The launch demonstrates Canon’s commitment to the Middle East market shortly after having announced its one-year anniversary in the kingdom. 

 

The Middle East launch event for the ImagePRESS C165 was hosted at Canon Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh innovation centre where it showcased the new printing solution, demonstrating its award-winning capabilities, followed by an interactive question and answer session. 

 

In the last year, Canon has achieved significant progress in Saudi Arabia in terms of its objectives related to employees, customers, community and revenue, operating from its branches in Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar. The kingdom’s printing market is the oldest and the largest in the Gulf estimated to grow to pass $7 billion in 2022, according to a report by Smithers Pira. The same report outlines that MENA’s printing market is set to grow to 2.8 trillion A4 prints and 17.9 million tonnes by 2022, with respective year-on-year growth rates of 2.8% and 5.8%.
