Audi launches new campaign entitled “Time to open new doors”

Samaco Automotive Company, the exclusive dealer for  Audi cars in Saudi Arabia, have announced a  film campaign entitled “Time to open new doors” in Saudi Arabia, in support of women driving cars and in compliance with Royal Order.

The new film campaign, produced by Audi AG,  “Time to open new doors”, perfectly complements the SAMACO strategy to grant an opportunity for everyone to drive one of their stunning vehicles, and enjoy the freedom that Audi cars offer.

In preparation for their new female customers, Samaco Automotive Company together with Audi Middle East have worked to support specific initiaitives that will appeal to women in Saudi Arabia since last year's Royal Order. The campaigns have included various customised purchase offers and ladies only test-drive sessions for Audi models. The progressive dealer have also organized and sponsored women's meetings and gatherings to advise and inform their female audience on the technical advantages of Audi models, their drive assist features which support road safety for driver and passengers and the essential car maintenance features to be aware of. Furthermore, the company has now employed dedicatedfemale staff to welcome women from the moment they enter any Audi showroom throughout Saudi Arabia; until the moment the woman receives her car, as well as keeping in touch with her after purchase to assist her at any time.

Globally, women have been empowered by Audi for many years. The company with the Four Rings was the first international company to nominate a woman to join the Audi team in the World Rally Championship. In 1981, Audi Sport signed Michèle Mouton to partner Hannu Mikkolain her first year with the Audi quattro, she took a surprise victory at the Rallye Sanremo. Michèle Mouton also set a new record on the 1985 Pikes Peak International Hillclimb in her factory sponsored Group B, Audi Sport quattro S1 with a time of 11:25.39. She was not only the fastest overall in 1985, but also set a record which still remains unbeaten to this day by a female driver.
