Al Aan TV announced its participation as a Knowledge Partner in the 9th edition of the STEP 2020 conference. The event will be held under the theme "The World in Dubai" on February 11-12 in partnership with Dubai Internet City (DIC) and the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism).

Al Aan TV launches a unique Citizen Journalism Experience, With over 8000 attendees, 300 startup exhibitors, influential entrepreneurs, and key technology speakers, STEP 2020 is the perfect platform to launch new and innovative ideas. During its participation as a Knowledge Partner, Al Aan TV launched the new "Khabbir" application, an innovative concept in Middle Eastern digital media scene.

"Khabbir" application will provide an opportunity for young people from all over the world to participate in shaping the news sector, giving them the opportunity to be news reporters, by sharing major events happening around them, through written content, video, or images, to be published on the application and Aired on Al Aan TV, published on Akhbaralaan.net and AlAan’s respective social pages.  It’s a unique gamification model for financial revenue to content creators on the platform.
