AIESEC to be the Leadership Development Partner at the Human Assets Expansion Summit MENA

150 influential ‘C’ suite executives and HR Directors from leading organisations in the MENA region will unite in Dubai in May for the 10th annual Human Assets Expansion Summit MENA (HAES). Organised by naseba group, which provides deal facilitation services in growth markets, the summit revolves around the theme ‘HR Innovations: Connecting People, Processes and Technology’. As an integral part of the summit, leading employers and individuals will be officially recognised through the 7th MENA HR Excellence Awards.

Strategic keynote addresses, interactive panel discussions, innovative think tank sessions and workshops will enable employers to discuss effective ways of attracting, nurturing, sustaining and developing employees by providing the right support and tools to communicate, collaborate and grow in an increasingly global and multicultural workplace.

AIESEC, a global youth-run organisation, will be the Leadership Development Partner at the HAES. Founded in 1948, AIESEC focuses on youth leadership training, global issues, and also offers internship opportunities worldwide. The organization is present in 125 countries, with 70,000 active members and over 1,000,000 alumni, and provides the young members experience on a global platform so they move on to make a social impact.

Ahmed Samara, AIESEC UAE National Director of the Global Internship Program said, “We are very pleased to be partnering with naseba in the upcoming 10th Annual Human Assets Expansion Summit MENA”. “We believe in the power of sharing knowledge and best case practices”, Samara further noted, “and this will be a great space to network, build relations, explore opportunities, share strategies and meet the right people within the field. This is an ideal opportunity to meet leading HR professionals from many regional organisations, network with them, and share successes and failures”.

Speaking about the summit, CEO of the naseba group, Sophie Le Ray said “HR is a strategic tool and a business enabler for organisations of all sizes and any sector. The success of companies and also national economies is heavily reliant on our human assets, and leadership development plays a vital role, especially in empowering the younger generation while revitalising the older. We are happy with AIESEC’s support and look forward to reshaping the region’s HR landscape”.
