In a move that strengthens the role of national companies in achieving the strategic objectives of health care in the Kingdom, and as the first initiative of its kind, Careem - the largest provider of smart transport services in the Kingdom and Abeer Medical Group one of the largest healthcare providers in GCC have come together to partner for mutually beneficial partnership.

 

The agreement was signed in the presence of Eng. Iyad Aldalouj, General Manager of Careem in the Eastern Region and Saeed Abdullah Al Amri, Head of Administration, Central Region at Abeer Medical Group. Under the agreement, Careem will provide the cost of medical care to Careem Captains, distinguished in the hospitals and centers of Abeer Medical Group, which extends to more than 17 healthcare centers in all regions of the Kingdom.

Engineer Ayad Al-Da'alouj, General Manager of Careem in the Eastern Region, expressed the importance of this partnership "because it helps to provide health services of great importance to Careem Captains, which we pride ourselves with in ensuring their stability and providing a healthy work environment they trust, especially when we partner with a major company and Abeer is a leader in many initiatives. Dr. Shinoop Raj, Regional Head Riyadh and Dammam re-iterated the significance of this partnership stating that- Abeer is entering into 20thyear of existence in KSA and we are focused to deliver affordable and reliable healthcare services to all 

Careem was launched in 2012, and over the past six years, the company has grown by over 30% per month and is currently present in more than 50 cities in Saudi Arabia. Since its launch, Careem has delivered millions of successful couriers to more than 10 million users with more than 1 million captain.
