Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana will be pleased to host a new swimming competition by the seawaters of the Arabian Gulf on Friday 13th of November 2015. It will be an exciting day for all the parents and children, as they will have the chance to compete and showcase their swimming strokes and skills.

 

This swimming competition will be welcoming over 100 participants, impatient to compete between each other with the possibility of winning gold and silver medals. Adults and kids will test their skills against the best in the region and have, in the same time, the opportunity to improve their swimming techniques with our high-qualified coaches. “I believe swimming is a different and unique sport where, through my teaching and coaching, I help the kids become stronger”, said Anas Karkutli, the swimming coach at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. “I can feel the complete change with their personality as their self-esteem and confidence increases”.

                                                                                                   

The competition will feature three styles – freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly – and participants will swim 30 or 60 m in each race, or the additional 120 m butterfly and 300 m freestyle. After their super performances, the swimming lovers will relax at the pool’s edge and enjoy cool and exotic refreshments. Moreover, they will have the chance to make new friends while splashing around in the Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana’s pool and share a fun-filled and diverting morning.

 

The participation in this competition is open to all levels and ages for only AED 70. Also, a pre-selection will be organized on November 6th and the best swimmers will be shortlisted for the great final on November 13th.
