Riyadh Witnesses the Work of the Real Estate Future Forum in February 2022 "Roshn" is a Sustainability Partner and the "National Housing Company" is a Strategic Partner

All necessary preparations and arrangements have been completed for the launch of the Real Estate Future Forum, which will be held from 23 to 24 February 2022, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, with the participation of a selected elite of speakers, professionals and experts in the real estate sector, business leaders, investors, from inside and outside the Kingdom, and several local and international bodies and organizations.

 

The Forum, which hosts a number of ministers, ambassadors, dignitaries and heads of major projects for three days, is the Kingdom’s largest platform that is concerned with the future of real estate development and the government's directions to localize quality projects in the real estate sector, while focusing on modern technologies in construction and housing, according to a mechanism that supports the government's directions to increase the Saudi family ownership rates and to make the real estate sector a good and effective contributor to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The Forum also aims to contribute to enhancing the quality and performance of the real estate sector, as it seeks to become an international, scientific and intellectual platform for discussing the reality and future of the real estate sector, exchanging experiences and information, and discussing challenges and practices to develop and promote this vital and important sector.

 

In addition, Roshn, the national real estate developer of residential areas and one of the Public Investment Fund companies, has announced its participation in the work of the Real Estate Future Forum, as it is in line with Roshn's goals and the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, to be the Forum’s sustainability partner and the real estate exhibition that will be held within the framework of the Forum’s work, with the participation of a number of relevant local, regional and international real estate entities and organizations.

 

In the same context, the National Housing Company (NHC)has announced its participation in the Forum’s work, as a strategic partner for the Forum. The NHC's participation is driven by its strategy that aims to support and promote various local and real estate events and activities that are concerned with developing the real estate sector in its various fields, in line with the fundamental pillars of the Saudi Vision 2030.

 

The Forum’s ten themes discussed by the participants cover various aspects of the real estate sector in the Kingdom, especially those related to the regulatory and legislative aspects of the real estate sector, the future of urban development, smart cities and sustainability, real estate investment, quality, real estate development, construction technologies, artificial intelligence, and real estate financing solutions.

 

Further, the Forum's workshops address various topics related to the present and future of real estate, most notably the financing of small and medium enterprises, real estate auctions, real estate arbitration mechanism, real estate marketing, real estate assessment, real estate digitization, and localization and its challenges. 

 

It is noteworthy that the Forum is a unique opportunity to discuss everything related to real estate in the Kingdom, especially in the field of regulations and legislation, their impact on the real estate sector, and how they are affected by flexibility and dynamism. The Forum is also an opportunity to review the outcomes of in-depth studies of the real estate sector, the figures related to the demand rates of lease and ownership, and the sources of such demand internally and externally. The speakers are expected to discuss a range of views on laws, legislation, and their ability address risks, and expected and unexpected challenges.
