Fahad Bin Mansour Bin Nasser Chair Of The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (Yea) KSA Summit 2020

The G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (YEA) 2020 appointed HRH Prince Fahad bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz AlSaud as the Chair of the G20 YEA 2020 and the KSA Summit.  The summit will be taking place from the 29th till the 30th of October 2020 under the theme “Entrepreneurship is a source of Innovation and Resilience”. Hosted in partnership with key local and global organizations including:  Mohammed bin Salman College for Business and Entrepreneurship (Knowledge Partner), Monshaat – the SME Authority (Strategy Partner) and Accenture (Strategy Partner) the summit is expected to be attended by a global audience of over 700 entrepreneurs, business leaders and young professionals.

A Saudi serial entrepreneur and investor, Prince Fahad bin Mansour has an impressive track record in launching and accelerating startups.  From digital technology and logistics he’s expanded his business portfolio to encompass enterprises that address the current global and local market needs paving way for new ideas and opportunities.  He founded Entrepreneurship Vission, a non governmental entity focusing on working with entrepreneurs and supporting the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.  Entrepreneurship Vission is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and the current summit host and organizer.

“We are excited to be working with HRH Prince Fahad bin Mansour AlSaud Entrepreneurship Vission as the G20 YEA summit host and organizers,” stated Alex Mitchell, UK President and Membership Committee Chair of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance.  “The G20 YEA is a collective of leading entrepreneurially-minded organizations representing the G20 countries who seek to promote youth entrepreneurship as a powerful driver of economic renewal, job creation, innovation and social change.  The YEA engages with the G20 leaders for the cause of youth entrepreneurship, share information across borders, affect positive policy change and create a global network of young entrepreneur advocates while building a collaborative entrepreneurial environment worldwide,” he continued.

This year’s summit is precedented as it is hosted virtually across the globe bringing together hundreds of the world’s top young entrepreneurs at the annual G20 YEA Summit to issue a communique to G20 Leaders. As is the case with each G20 Leaders’ Summit, the G20 YEA Summit takes place in a different country every year, by rotation of member countries.  The G20 YEA Summit is a nonofficial engagement group.

“It is an honor and privilege to be the G20 YEA KSA 2020 Summit president working alongside the YEA global heads and delegations globally.   As the summit theme focuses on the entrepreneurial resilience and innovation our summit embodies that mindset as we come together to host a summit bringing together hundreds of global delegates virtually,” said HRH Prince Fahad bin Mansour AlSaud.  “It’s a pleasure to be part of this historic and program and we look forward to welcoming all our delegates.

Showcasing entrepreneurship as a source of innovation and resilience, especially in times of crisis the annual G20 YEA summit will also address the worlds young entrepreneurs response to the COVID-19 fight and commitment to work with global economies to recover from the devastating effects of the pandemic; urging governments to target economic stimulus measures to support the next generation of inclusive economic growth that young entrepreneurs can spearhead in societies around the world.

Established in 2010, the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance (G20 YEA) is the world’s largest network of young entrepreneurs with the organizations that support them.   The Alliance Secretariat supports a growing global network of thousands of emerging entrepreneurs in the 20 most significant economies in the world which account for 90% of the gross world product (GWP), 80% of world trade, 2/3 of the world population, and 1/2 of the world land area. The G20 YEA liaises with knowledge partners such as Accenture to understand and share the conditions that will help businesses founded by young people to grow, succeed and compete globally.  The G20 YEA consists of leading entrepreneurial organizations across the G20 nations. The top young entrepreneurs collectively analyse and suggest solutions in form of recommendations concerning policies improvements and changes to G20 Heads of State.  The G20 YEA convenes each year in advance of the G20 Summit in the host country to champion the importance of young entrepreneurs to the G20 member nations throughout the year.
