Raffles Spa introduces a variety of Moroccan treatments to its reviving spa menu in collaboration with the luxurious brand marocMaroc. Offering three revitalising journeys including an exclusive Candle Ritual massage, each experience is inspired by a story, a ritual and an ingredient that evokes a facet of Morocco.

 

The Candle Ritual is a sensory awakening massage which begins with stretching and muscle movements to prepare the body to receive the candle’s active ingredients that hydrate and comfort the skin instantaneously. The candle exudes the spicy scent of its plant wax, brimming with mysterious sensuality of Amber blended with notes of vanilla and musk, releasing its revitalising, calming properties with each stroke. The 50-minute Candle Ritual, priced at AED 515, is ideal for releasing tension, loosening up joints and regaining elasticity in the skin while enhancing the harmony of body and spirit.

 

The Absolute Rose Wrap offers a 60-minute cocooning experience for the body while deeply relaxing the mind. The treatment starts with a body and face exfoliation using two of marocMaroc’s signature products Miel d’Ambre and Grains de Lumière. Inspired by the traditional black soap, the ingredients remove toxins and dead cells, leaving the skin deeply cleansed and purified. Their balm texture then transforms the exfoliation into a very nourishing massage to soften the skin. To end this experience, the skin is hydrated with Roses de Sucre nourishing cream, offering a subtle enigmatic aroma of Morocco’s majestic roses. The 60-minute Absolute Rose Wrap is priced at AED 615, soothes and intensely hydrates the body.

 

The Ceremonial Massage will take you on a sensory journey through Morocco as well as naturally warm the body giving you the feeling of being in the hammam. Drawing on traditional rituals, the 60-minute ceremonial massage will begin with a foot exfoliation, followed by the application of heat packs to relax muscular tension and stretching to ease aches.  Ending with a massage using marocMaroc’s Onguent d’Argan, a warm balm and a tribute to argan at the heart of the formula, known for its numerous nourishing benefits. When applied, this unguent reveals a subtle perfume of eucalyptus and cedar vapour, with cumin seeds and a touch of vanilla. The Ceremonial Massage, priced at AED 500, nourishes the skin and leave you feeling deeply relaxed.

 

Exceptionally throughout the month of March, Raffles Spa celebrates women and mothers by offering them the luxury of time and self-care.
