Advanced Electronics Company’s defence and aeronautics solutions witness strong visitor interest at DSEI 2019

Advanced Electronics Company (AEC),a Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) company, announced today that it has concluded its successful participation in the Defense and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition held at ExCeL London from 10-13 September. 

 

At the leading international arms fair, AEC showcased its diversified portfolio of Avionics, Electronics, Electronic Warfare, and C4ISR offerings. In addition, the company signed a teaming agreement with L3Harris Technologies to collaborate on different rotorcraft simulators within the Kingdom.His Excellency Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Chairman of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President and CEO of AEC, Dr. Andreas Schwer, CEO of SAMI, and Mr. Lenny Genna, President of L3Harris Military Training, were present at the signing ceremony. 

Commenting on the participation, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, said: “At AEC, we are immensely proud that our participation in DSEI 2019 was a resounding success as we attracted strong interest and received tremendous appreciation for our innovations from international visitors. The exhibition also offered us an excellent platform to enter into a strategic partnership, which will help us further our contributions toward materializing Saudi Arabia’s vision to localize 50 percent of its military and security spending through the development of a robust and sustainable domestic military industries sector. We will also build on our relationship with L3Harris Technologies to help develop a local talent pool and create new employment opportunities in the Kingdom.”

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the United Kingdom, visited AEC  at the exhibition, in addition to His Excellency Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Chairman of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), and a number of high-profile dignitaries and industry experts.

AEC highlighted its flagship cybersecurity solutions such as Security Operations Center (SOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and advanced military fleet management technologies (MADAR) and Air Observation System (AOS) during the four-day exhibition. In addition, the company also showcased advanced Anti-Drone solutions as well as its Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) and Typhoon avionics repair capabilities at the event.
