TRBA was in the spotlight when it successfully unveiled the world’s first RIA (Regulatory Impact Analysis) test that incorporates quantitative methods. The test successfully assessed the social, economic and environmental impacts of new regulations and is now a key tool in helping improve the quality of regulations and reduce unnecessary burdens on businesses. 

 

Business assurance has become a paramount requirement for organizations across the globe, especially within the healthcare sector. In 2018 alone, almost 1,200 audits were conducted in the healthcare sector by a unique standard not available before internationally, making TRBA the nation’s fastest-growing certification body for healthcare. In addition, TRBA was merited with being the first body worldwide to release an accredited certificate for Anti-Bribery Management System ISO 37001 for a German company and was also among the few bodies to certify drones for Quality Management Systems.

Mr. Al Saadi revealed, “There is a keen interest in the local market among international organizations who are eager to bring everything from food, retail and other miscellaneous products to the UAE. Moreover, there is an increased demand for Halal certification services due to the boom in Halal friendly travel, and Halal foods that are now readily available across the globe, especially in countries like Japan where many of its culinary offerings are certified Halal. Providing accreditation for Halal is going to be our first international project and we look forward to bringing our excellence to the rest of the world”. He added that TRBA is in the distinct position of providing confidence to its clients with the support of its Italian counterpart that manages more than 120 offices worldwide. Through this symbiotic partnership, TRBA attracts local initiatives that are supported with international experience.

TRBA is also active in standardization, recently taking the revision of the national standard for business continuity, in addition to be authorized for training and certification from the The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
