Following the successful participation of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors "Lexus" in the opening of the first cinema in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, where on the opening day the interesting American feature movie the “Black Panther” was shown, Abdul Latif Jameel Company organized in Jeddah a premiere, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, to exclusively view the international feature movie “Men in Black”, where Lexus invited its clients in Jeddah for a special and exclusive cinematic  evening prior to the launch of the movie  officially in Saudi Arabia on June 20, 2019.

The Men in Black is a fictional film and tells the story of a group of secret agents assigned to protect the galaxy from the threat of villains, and for this assignment their ride of choice is Lexus, given their sophisticated design and high performance enabling them to execute tasks with high speed and pursuit prosecuting Villains.  Lexus was adopted to be the official car to undercover Men in Black in the film, where the high performance, nimble and advanced Lexus RC F is the hero ride of choice. Appearing also in the film is the bold Lexus RXh.  

The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.

“We’ve added some advanced capabilities to the RC F to assist the Men in Black agents, creating a truly one-of-a-kind alien-fighting machine,” said Lisa Materazzo, vice president of Lexus marketing. Meanwhile, Sony Pictures Entertainment Company expressed its pleasure for this successful collaboration with Lexus in this movie, which participated in supporting the Galaxy protectors’ missions, driven by Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, where the luxury sports Lexus RC F provided the ideal protection of the Galaxy from the threats of the evils of the world.

Lexus showcased at this event the sports car Lexus RC F, which participated in the movie in order to grant the guests the opportunity to get a closer look at this fantastic car. Lexus is RCF is the world’s first car a front engine and rear drive system and uses torque vectoring differential (TVD) system to ensure exceptional levels of control and performance. The car is fitted with a new eight-speed transmission.  The car is also equipped with wider wheels and tires, and rear sports spoiler for more stability, as well as air vents and cooling streams plus special category equipped with carbon fiber, these features add to the car a unique well-known character for Lexus combining elegance and maximum performance with unprecedented driving dynamics.

Lexus participations in entertainment, social and classy cultural events fall under its great faith in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 that seek to improve the quality of life through cultural and recreational projects which play an important economic role in providing job opportunities in the Kingdom.

Noting that the Ministry of Culture and information has granted licenses for the most specialized international companies to run cinemas in the Kingdom, which will reach 100 cinemas in Saudi Arabia. The Cinema sector is expected to grow up to a billion dollars over the next few years. Saudi Arabia with its more than 32 million, most of them under the age of 30 years, is expected to form the largest market for cinema in the region.
