Emaar Entertainment’s Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo, has once again underpinned its position as a preferred family entertainment destination. The renowned attraction has been awarded the overall number six spot worldwide and number one in the Middle East and Africa (MENA) region by TripAdvisor’s 2018 Travelers’ Choice Awards.

 

One of the world’s most recognised websites for travelers, TripAdvisor awarded Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo based on millions of reviews and opinions from travelers around the world.

 

Located in The Dubai Mall, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is one of the largest suspended aquariums in the world with thousands of aquatic animals comprising over 140 species and features 270-degree acrylic walkthrough tunnel which makes for incredible close-encounters with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet including sharks and stingrays.

 

Underwater Zoo, located on Level 2 above the main Aquarium, presents global bio-diversity in different ecological zones including Rainforest, Rock Pool Coastline and UAE Night Creatures, where a variety of aquatic animals are featured including Penguins, Crocodiles, Piranhas, Giant Spider Crabs, Otters, Water Rats, Sea Horses and Sea Jellies amongst others.
