King Salman attends Grand Horse Race for King Abdulaziz Cup

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, honorary president of the Equestrian Club patronized on Saturday evening the Grand Annual Horse Race for the King Abdulaziz Trophy for locally-bred horses at the King Abdulaziz Race Course in Janadriyah. The 10th round of the race was allotted for the Trophy, Saudi Press Agency said.

The 10th round of the horse race for the King Abdulaziz Trophy commenced and at the end of the round, King Salman handed over the founder’s trophy to Prince Saud Bin Salman, as the mare “Mujtaha” won the first place.

King Salman was then presented a commemorative gift by Dr. Tariq Inayat, president of STC Group, the sponsoring company for the Equestrian Club races. The monarch was then bidden farewell on departure from the venue.

At the outset, the King was accompanied by Prince Saud Bin Salman on arrival at the race course. He was received by Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, emir of Riyadh Province, among a big number of other princes.
