King Faisal Prize and Alfaisal University signed a cooperation agreement to promote joint activities of mutual interest. The agreement capitalizes on the great success of the ‘Pioneers in Medicine’ conference held last December.  As a result, “Pioneers in Medicine” will be held periodically as a major medical event covering the important research and the latest developments in modern medicine.

 

The agreement was signed at Alfaisal University, by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Al Hayaza, President of the University and H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail Secretary General of King Faisal Prize; and attended by HRH Princess Dr. Maha bint Mishari Al Saud, Vice President of External Relations and Advancement at the University, and Professor Khaled Al Kattan, Vice President of Administrative and Financial Affairs and Dean of College of Medicine at the University, and by KFP’s scientific advisor, Eng. Sulaiman Almzied.

 

Dr. Alsebail emphasised the significance of extending bridges between scientific entities. He also was confident that the collaboration with the well renowned Alfaisal University will help enrich academic and scientific knowledge as well as encourage its advancement to better serve humanity by honoring those who are pioneers in the medical field during this conference.
