The "Arab Private Sector Forum of the Fourth Session of the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit" intends to manifest the visions of the Arab private sector to enhance its role in financing development to achieve the desired economic and social advancement and integration. It will also reflect the role of the private sector in sustainable development to attain a more inclusive growth through the new innovative horizons opened up by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
In a world of limited resources, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is moving forward in the economic, social and cultural life. In most countries, the economic approach emerging from the principles of sharing and circular economies in production and consumption is gaining momentum. Innovation has become an essential element in the policies of States as well as for companies and organizations. It is now a major component for sustainable production and manufacturing operations around the world. This demands that the Arab world keep up with these important developments in order to overcome the prevailing obstacles of limited resources and the consequences of climate change and advance in realizing development and economic integration goals. Unlike the natural resources, science, technology, innovation and new innovative economic concepts are indeed non-scarce and undepletable.
