he Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP®) is a competency-based (knowledge and experience) credential that validates the skills and knowledge of coding and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) professionals and demonstrates mastery of CDI responsibilities supporting business growth and quality health care.

Prepare to earn AHIMA's highly-respected Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) certification. This two-day in-person workshop covers all of the six domains in the CDIP exam: Clinical & Coding Practice, Leadership, Record Review & Document Clarification, CDI Metrics & Statistics, Research & Education, and Compliance. Faculty will incorporate real-world examples and learning activities into the training to facilitate learner retention. After successful completion of the workshop and certification-specific pre-requisites, attendees will be better prepared for the CDIP certification exam.
