Huawei Consumer Business Group has won an award from the Android Authority, the largest smartphone assessment and review organization, with Huawei's Mate10 Pro winning the "Best 2017 Smartphone" award. The award comes as an affirmation of Huawei's commitment to high quality standards, outstanding design, and robust performance to deliver devices with exceptional design and exceptional performance.

 

Based on eight key criteria to determine the best smartphone in the world, the Android Authority focused on: screen, sound, back camera, front camera, battery, performance, user experience and value for money. Based on these standards the Huawei Mate 10 Pro phone, which was launched for the first time last October and it is significant for operating on Kirin processor 970 based on artificial intelligence techniques, has won the first place with 361 points on all the criteria.

The first-of-its-kind Kirin 970 processor in the built-in world of the Mate 10 Pro delivers advanced technological features - automated learning and in-depth learning - allowing the phone to learn and understand the user’s behavior every day. The Mate 10 Pro can adapt to the needs of users and is aware of their concerns with a day-to-day performance. When the phone acquires and understands that information, it can predict user needs and allocates CPU, GPU and NPU (Neural Processing Unit) to enable users to use their most used applications, deliver superior performance, 25% faster than previous phones, and with minimal power of consumption.

 

It is noteworthy that "Android Authority" Foundation this year, has conducted more than 40 tests on smart phones to participate in the evaluation, which Mate 10 Pro phone has passed, earning the best smart phone in the world for 2017. The award will be presented during the CES show in Las Vegas from 9 to 12 January 2018.
