Shairco Motors, a subsidiary of Shairco Group, the exclusive dealer for Lifan cars in Saudi Arabia, hold a special event for the launch of the all-new Lifan 820, in the presence of Sheikh Mustafa Al Shair, Chairman of Shairco Motors, and Mr. Kamal Halal, the Managing Director, and a large delegation from Lifan Motors led by Mr. Derek Duan, Director of Middle East and North Africa in Lifan Motors, a group of Lifan car enthusiasts and the press.

In his speech at the event,  Sheikh Mustafa Alshair, thanked the attendees and stressed the long and strong relationship with Lifan Group, and praised their efforts to offer highly sophisticated cars.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kamal Halal, addressed the invitees by saying:" The launch of the remarkable model 820 underlines  the great success of Lifan Motors in general, and in Saudi Arabia, in particular.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Lifan Motors for their keen efforts to produce such a great car, and to thank all our employees for  their  passion and constant pursuit to provide the highest service levels in order to achieve an outstanding level of customers' satisfaction."

He added:" The all-new new Lifan 820 tops the upper mid-size car category,  and heavily loaded with advanced and highly advanced driving systems, and yet, it will be offered at a very reasonable price starting from SR. 57900.  

On the other hand, Mr. Derek Duon, commented on the launch of Lifan 820 as saying:" With the progress of Chinese auto brands, Lifan Motors has been all along pursuing innovations on its own products; introduces the all new mid-sized Lifan 820 expressed strongly our devotion to the automotive industry. Steady Style, Grand and Trendy

Lifan 820 has a very high level of originality with respect to style. Lifan 820 boasts of well-coordinated proportion, smooth lines and meets with the standard for the premium brand. Lifan 820 adopts more streamlining lines and the style is prone to the European vehicle series.

The designed vehicle head is grand and fashionable and the hexagon air intake grille is very prominent. LED daytime running lamp is very bright and conforms to the prevailing trend. The headlight style is delicate and sharp. The width lamp adopts the matrix LED, and supplemented by the silver frame, the visual effect is decent.

The vehicle tail is very serried and shows V-shaped profile. The inclined C pillar impresses people with coupes. The spoiling design of the trunk hood exhibits the sporting sense as well as takes care of thinking of young consumers.

Concise Interior, Generous and Appreciative

Compared with the outstanding exterior, Lifan 820’s interior is neutral and appreciative and its design lines are concise. The aquagraphics technology-based brown wooden texture decoration panel and the silver trim are embedded in the fully black interior, which seems to be graceful and primitive. The unity between the interior and exterior style is highlighted.

Lifan 820’s grand and steady style is highlighted by the regular and simple console pattern with refined workmanship. The instrument light is clear and cozy. The white background light seems transparent and the central liquid crystal display is equipped with the digital speedometer and the tire pressure reading. The steering wheel is wrapped by the authentic leather and the grip feels good. The multi-function key includes audio and constant speed cruise control.

 

Cozy Space, Flexible and Changeable

With respect to space, Lifan 820 lives up to the standard for the medium-and high-level vehicle. Lifan 820 has a 2775-mm ultra-long wheelbase and the wide and cozy driving and seating space are presented. The vehicle body length, width and height are separately 4865mm, 1835mm,1480mm so that the transportation comfort is guaranteed from the perspective of space.

Abundant Configurations; Upgrading Care

Lifan 820’s on-board smart technology configurations make people fully surprised. The complete vehicle experience is greatly enhanced by such configurations as the electric folding rearview mirror, six-direction electric regulation driving seat, electric sunroof, multi-function steering wheel, electronic navigation, reversing visual system, front anti-collision radar, auto air conditioner, keyless entry and start-stop button. The in-vehicle entertainment image system of Lifan 820 can be interconnected to the mobile phone. The central display system is equipped with the navigation and Bluetooth phone.

 

Comfort is fully upgraded- noise and vibration are reduced.

Embodying the new quality of Lifan brand, the design of front McPherson suspension + rear multi-link independent suspension for Lifan 820 is rare in comparable models.. Sound insulation is improved significantly compared with the previous models. There is no obvious interior noise at the driving speed of 80km/h. Lifan 820 also provides sufficient filtration for vibration. Lifan 820 has embodied its high-end quality as an upper intermediate model.

 

Lifan 820 with High Safety and Comfortability

The crash standard for Lifan 820 is designed according to C-NCAP 5-star safety and about 50% body is made of high-strength steel sheet (including front and back anti-collision beam) welded by robot, thus greatly improving the safety of the whole vehicle. Lifan 820 is designed with HEEAB high rigidity, energy-absorption framed body, with a maximum yield strength of 1200Mpa equivalent to 4-5 times of that of normal steel. The maximum thickness of the steel sheet is 2.6mm and almost 50% of the vehicle is made of high-strength steel, thus all-around safety system and forming an excellent safety shield.

Smart car care and driving systems

Lifan 820 is fitted  with the latest generation of 9.0 electronic vehicle safety system of German Bosch, and provided with the powerful functions of ABS, ESP, EBD, TCS, BAS, and HBA, which make it surpass other comparable models. These functions can stabilize the vehicle in an emergency situation to prevent side-slipping, drifting, and rolling, and provide intelligent protection for driving. The car also equipped with auto air conditioner with activated carbon filter.

Lifan 820 is also equipped with electronic touch feedback 6-airbag (driver's airbag, co-driver's airbag, and lateral air curtain), to intelligently control the time of airbag launching and millisecond launching. Lifan 820 is equipped with reversing path line prompt (SAS), static guiding line prompt, high-sensitivity reversing radar with 6 cameras at front and back, and sound prompt, to provide 360° driving protection.

In addition, as a standard configuration, Lifan 820 is also equipped with four-wheel independent digital tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS system),  GPS electronic navigation system, electrically foldable outside rearview mirrors with heating function, four-wheel disc brake, electronic anti-theft function for engine, central locking anti-theft function, automatic door-locking function.

 

Sufficient power reserve enables timely shifting.

Lifan 820  is currently equipped with two types of power system for choice. The highest power of 1.8L engine is 98KW and its maximum torque reaches 168Nm linked to a 5-speed manual transmission. The highest power of 2.4L engine is 118KW and its maximum torque reaches 221Nm linked to a 6-speed auto transmission. Such advantages of this set of power system as stability, efficiency, low fuel consumption, light weigh property and high performance exhibit the typical utilitarianism of Lifan 820.

Robust Dynamics and Cozy Maneuverability

Regarding maneuverability, the chassis performance of Lifan 820 is most surprising. The chassis adjusted by U.K MIRA appears very solid. The lateral tilting during cornering is small while the turning response is sensitive. The electronic power steering is very close and the steering force is relatively light. During high speed driving, the electric power steering system will increase the steering force to ensure fixed driving route and bring cozy and assured driving environment.
